HR & Employment Law: How To Calculate Holiday Pay

Calculating Holiday Pay

Failing to calculate the correct holiday pay can result in costly claims that can be back dated for up to 2 years.

This workshop focuses on calculating holiday pay which is particularly relevant as we now approach the holiday season.

Holiday pay can be particularly complicated to calculate where staff:

  • Do not work set hours
  • Work part time
  • Undertake regular overtime
  • Earn frequent commission

There has been a number of important changes following the Bear Scotland v Foulton  case which now means there are circumstances where additional payments such as overtime, commission and bonuses must be included in the holiday calculation.
